Wednesday!
Since we got back home from our vacation, I decided that I will never skip going to the gym to work out, rain or shine! I did it for the first week and was able to run at least 5 miles a day. I felt really great and satisfied especially because I made it despite the nasty weather here in Washington. Although it was so hard for me to wake up early in the morning and tag along Miriam to go to the gym, its all worth it knowing the fact that we have enjoyed our walk together and get to spend quality time with each other too. We have a huge umbrella that gives Miriam the excitement to brave the rain too. Anyway, a week after this my friend called me if I could babysit her daughter since our other friend who was supposed to babysit her, cannot make it. I felt frustrated because I am so used to be with my child alone and we love our special time together. In addition to that, I love my work out. I said yes to my friend, anyway. She told me that the next day, our other friend will babysit her daughter. That was totally fine with me if I can miss just 1 day at the gym. The next day came, me and Miriam were getting ready to go to the gym when my friend came and asked me to babysit her daughter again because our other friend’s daughter got sick and obviously cannot babysit another child. I totally understand but part of me is really frustrated. To make the story short, I was babysitting my friend’s daughter for the entire week.
Well, this week is different. I didn’t have to babysit my friend’s daughter. Me and Miriam had fun going on a walk together. She loves to be with her friends at the kid’s club while I was enjoying my time at the gym too. I was able to run another 5.30 miles this morning, etc. I feel great! Thanks God for the strength! I hope that I will be able to maintain this very important activity. I always think that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and that we should take care of it. One way of loving God is to take care of our body.
