Practicum

Today marks my second day of practicum at school where I work with an early childhood children with special needs. All I can say is that I have enjoyed it a lot and those kids are so precious! Most of them want to sit on my lap and read to them a story or simply, just want to be with me all the time. There is this little boy who is just so adorable wanting a lot of attention from me. Anywhere I go, he always wanted to be so close to me. One of the teachers told me that he wants so much attention because he is looking for a mother’s love as he don’t have one anymore. He lives with his dad alone. Poor little guy, he must have been craving for a mother’s love all the time. I don’t know what really happened to his mom but I do feel so sorry for him. I wish I will become his teacher throughout his elementary years so that I can at least show him the kind of love and care that he always wanted. I just hope and pray that he will grow into the kind of child God wants him to be. God be with him always.
