Moving my magazine subscriptions

The magazine industry may be dying, but I just love the feeling of thumbing through a new issue of Vogue or Vanity Fair while sitting outside.

Now e-readers can go most places that magazines and books can, but when I found out I was moving I decided to Get Wild Blue in my new location and forward all of my magazine subscriptions to my new address.

I used my wildblue colorado to make the switches and I’ll have to admit, I considered signing up for the digital versions of several magazine titles instead of the print ones for storage and moving purposes but then I remembered how often I pick up a months-old magazine off my coffee table and find a great article that I hadn’t read before.

Once I moved I looked up sattelite internet rogers arkansas and signed up for it. Now I’m getting settled into my new home, which is quite different from my old environment in Colorado (especially hotter)!

My first issue of Vanity Fair just arrived at my new address and now I really feel like I’m at home.

One on one class discussion

I just ordered my husband’s textbook online and it should be here in 3 to 4 days. What’s cool about his class is that there were only 2 of them, excluding the class teacher. He said that its going to be a very easy class since there’s not a lot of discussions among the students. It would be a one on one class discussion with his only one classmate. On the other hand, its going to be really easy for the teacher too. Oh how I wish, my class right now is in the same situation. Anyway, I have to go now.

Effective fat burner

In my previous post, I was talking about my friend who was not feeling well and it might be because, she’s allergic to the weight loss pills that she’s taking right now. Since she really want to loose weights but it sounds like taking pills is not a good option for her, I would suggest that she should try this thermogenic fat burner where it burns fat by increasing metabolism. What is so good about this too is that it will really burn more calories and store less fat. I have heard so many testimonies about this kind of fat burner and they all said positive things about it. I am so thankful to God for the beautiful day today. Its really sunny outside and I can’t wait to walk down the neighborhood when hubby gets home from work. Right now, I need to finish my 3 assignments (1250 words essay) before its due midnight. By the way, my husband just started his class this week from the same school that I am at right now. In fall, he will be cross enrolling in a community school too. Its going to be really busy for us. I might be taking 2 classes at a time too so that I’ll be done this year. On the other hand, we are planning to move to a townhouse soon here. We need at least 3 bedrooms now because Miriam wants to have her own room now. I hope that we can get a townhouse as soon as possible.

Maturity

Looking back at our old photos, I noticed the big difference when we’re really young and now that we have grown up. Honestly, it breaks my heart just the thought of becoming really old in the future and develop this thing called age spots. I am just relieved to know that there is a cure for that and when time comes, I will be really ready and wont have fears anymore about getting old because I know exactly what to do now. Right now, while I am still young and healthy, I do need to make the most of my time doing something beneficial or productive such as exercising daily, spending time with my family, studying well, etc. Anyway, I better go and work out. Online degree

I just audit my class and I found out that I am really close to finish my MA degree. I can’t wait! This is really exciting. To those of you who doesn’t know yet, I took an online bachelor degree last 2007 and finished it last May 2009 and now with my MA degree. It’s really convenient for me because I can go to school in the comfort of my own home while I spend time with my family. Online class is really amazing to me. It is not that easy though compared to the regular or ground classrooms but its all worth it. I learned so many things from taking classes online. I graduated with honors too which is really great!

It feels like spring here

Its summer already but it feels like spring here in our place. I would say that we’re so blessed to experience this kind of weather. I know that it rains a lot here in Washington and I honestly like it now. I realized that rain is a blessing from God and without it, there would be no growth, no beauty, and no life (Hebrews 6:7). If you happen to visit Washington, you can really see how beautiful living here with all the green things you can see. Hence, this state is called, the Evergreen State.

Ear problem and taste buds

Last Friday, I hurt my ears so bad that my husband had to rush me to the urgent care. While I was cleaning my ears, I accidentally hit it really hard with a…when I fell down against the wall…I blamed myself for this since, I really don’t have any reason why I need to do it. My ears are clean, its just that I am so addicted to poking my ears with a Qtip or anything like that hehehe…I know its really bad but what can I do? It already happened and the damage has been done. I just hope and pray that in due time, I’ll be completely healed. Right now, I’m taking antibiotics so that it wont get infected. What is so sad about my ear pain too is that, I lost my taste buds on the other side of my tongue. It seems like there is a nerve that connects to my ears and tongue that was affected too. I pray to God that this problem won’t be forever. I know that He is a God who heals and I trust Him for that. Friends please pray with me.

A friend’s preschool graduation

This afternoon, me and Miriam attended her friend’s preschool graduation. Although, she’s really happy for her friend, I know that part of her wished to be one of them singing in front wearing their graduation cap. She never been to school before and when she saw all the graduating kids, she whispered to me that she will go to school too someday hehehe…I am so excited for September because she will be in kindergarten soon. This will be her first time in school. I know that she will do good in school and she will learn a lot and improve her social life. She’s really shy and I hope and pray that she will get over it once she’ll be in school. She’s a very smart girl and I don’t want her future school to tell us that she needs speech therapist, etc. just because she’s too shy to talk. She will be going to a private Christian school and I know that she will excel there big time! GO GO GO Miriam! You can do it!!!

Our little inventor

When Miriam was a little baby, she really love toys a lot but when she become a toddler, she enjoyed different things than playing. What’s so amazing about her is that she love to make her own stuff or toys. For instance, she created her own kite without anyone to help her out. She created a very fashionable outfit for her barbie and she was using her hair ties for it. She created a cartoon character from papers, clips, pens, etc. My husband said that she will never get bored because if she doesn’t have a toy, she will create a toy. We call her a little inventor. She’s simply amazing!
