Miriam in the crowd

I drop off Miriam at the kid’s club this morning while I am working out. In there, not only that they can play and watch movies, they will also be doing something educational such as drawing, writing, storytelling, etc. She can stay at the kid’s club for a limit of 2 hours but usually I picked her up within an hour after. Right when she saw me entering the door, she ran to me and showed me her artwork. This morning, they had to color the drawing on this piece of paper but to my surprise, she drew something at the back on the paper instead. When I saw it, I was so amazed especially with her own interpretation about the drawing. She told me that the yellow haired girl in the crowd represents her because she was different among the others and that she is a good girl. I believe that what she was trying to tell me is that, you can be a light to others wherever you are. Based on her interpretation, I learned that even when you are in a crowd of different kinds of people with different personalities, always let your light shine no matter what! You don’t have to join the trends just to be accepted in the society, you can be different by letting them see Jesus in you and when they see your good deeds, they will follow you eventually. I am just so amazed of how brilliant her thoughts are. I thank God for her all the time!

On buying a house

Although I was envious about my friend who is going to buy a brand new house, I am really happy for her that she and her family can finally own a house. Surely, I will be missing them here in our apartment complex but she said, we can always visit each other especially that they are not that far from us. She also told me too that her husband wants to make sure that they can apply for this mortgage protection insurance as soon as they can finally move to their new home. They wanted to make sure that their mortgage will be protected and I totally agree with that. If we can buy a house in the near future, we will definitely do the same thing too. Right now, we just keep on saving because we wanted to purchase a home in cash. I know that it will probably take us a long time to be able to able to save enough money for a house but we can always wait. As my husband always said, ” good things comes to those who wait.”

I just started my class yesterday and I am so looking forward to the things that I will be learning. I’ll have practicum at school too and I am now excited about it. I can’t wait to work at school soon. This is going to be really fun!

Video games

Although my husband doesn’t play video games anymore as much as he used to, I still want to surprise him with a ps3 one of these days. Aside from the games that comes with it, what we like about it too is that it has a lot of features such as blu-ray, internet connectivity, multimedia, etc. I am planning on sending one to our family in the Philippines too. Good thing that it is very affordable now. It is really a good investment. Our friend from church just got one and he said how cool it is and how much he love it. Too bad that my husband has a very hectic schedule nowadays because our friend invited him to a gaming party this weekend and he can’t really come. Time will come when he graduates, he can do things like this again. It is not too long anymore and I am so excited for him.

On lossing weights

Me and Miriam went to the gym this morning. Thanks God that the weather is really warm today and it was a lot of fun walking to the mall also. One thing that encourages me also to work out everyday no matter what is the weight loss success stories of the people that were used to be overweight. There were pictures shown also of the before and after they decided to be serious on working out daily, taking proper diet, etc. Part of these success stories are also because of the weight loss products that they were using. I learned that these products has high quality fat burning ingredients that are very safe and effective to use. My weekly goal is to at least lost 1 lb. I hope that I wont get tired of going to the gym to work out. I need to be really motivated because without it, I wont succeed for whatever goals I have in life. Good luck to me!

Ferrari car for sale

My friend’s husband has a 1999 Ferrari car that he wanted to sell but the problem is, it needs a little repair. My friend told me that all they need is to replace some of the Ferrari parts and it will be working great! I told my friend that they could buy them online in a very affordable price. Since they don’t have internet connection for now, she will come over later today to purchase online the parts that they need. The good thing about it too is that the parts are of highest quality. I hope that they could sell their car as soon as possible once they could fix the problem with it. Good luck to them!

Wednesday

Me and Miriam went to the gym today despite the cold weather. We were just walking down there and although it was freezing, we sure had fun. After an hour at the gym, we went to the mall too to look around for Miriam’s dress for Easter. I figured that I can definitely sew her the dress that she really love and so, I told her that we can just go to Joan’s and she can pick a fabric for her dress. She was so excited of the thought that I’ll be the one to make her dress. She told me, “Thank you so much Mom.” Now, I can’t wait to make her a beautiful dress for Easter.

BTW, her birthday is coming soon and since she loves High School Musical as her birthday theme, I asked her a suggestion of what she want her cake to look like and she said, “What about a microphone cake”? HEHEHEHE…I think, that is really a good idea. She really love music, I guess.

GTG now, its getting late her and I have to put Miriam to sleep. GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

Miriam was being so cute while communicating with me. Yesterday afternoon after church, we went to the gas station besides the Blockbuster store. When she sees that movie store, she said, “Look Mama, let’s go there because I want to pick my movie.” I replied, “Do you have money”? She answered, “hmmm No, but you have money mom so you can buy it for me.” Me and my husband were just looking at each other in great amazement because we were not expecting her to give such a straight to the point answer! That was so smart of her to be able to figure out things…

Night time came, we bought a cookie dough from Papa Murphy’s and Sammy argued that she wanted to eat the dough when my husband told her that we should bake it. She insisted that she will bring the dough to her school and eats there. I told her that eating a cookie dough is so disgusting the fact that it has raw eggs mixed in a flour, etc. but she said that she really doesn’t care. Anyway, while my husband and her arguing about it, this is what Miriam said to her daddy. “That’s okay dad, we will just get some at the store.” Miriam was only 4 years old but she already knew how to be patient. And during that time, she was the one being matured than the 15 y.o….That’s my girl that I am so proud of!

On getting a laptop

Yesterday, me and my husband were looking around for great deals on laptops because we wanted to purchase one for my class. We have the mini laptop but we will give it to my friend who really needs it too. Anyway, we decided to get one of these hp laptops that I saw online. Most of our computers are from hp and we are very impressed with them. I look for online reviews from its users and they are all satisfied with their hp computers. In addition, the prices are so affordable. I can’t wait to get mine soon especially that my class will start on Thursday next week.
