Miriam is going to school

Finally, Miriam is all set for kindergarten. I registered her yesterday and there will be an informal interview on Tuesday. The good thing about her school is that its just a walking distance from where we live, about 1 block. Most of all, its a Christian school with high quality education. Me and my husband didn’t really mind paying for the tuition fee because the education she will be getting is excellent! We’re so excited for her and can’t wait for her first day of school this opening. God bless you Miriam!!!

I’ve been busy watching “LOST” these days hehehehe…you cannot blame me for that because it is really addicting. I am on the season 3 now but I have to really force myself not to watch any episodes until I am done with my last assignment that consists of at least 2000 words. To be honest, I wont mind writing even if I am required to write more than that but the thing that I don’t like about this assignment is that I have to interview 6 people (5 Special Ed teachers and 1 School Principal) and I have to provide my own interview questions. The good thing is that I know I can do it! My philosophy is this, “I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO GIVES ME STRENGTH.” Yup, that is so right! I have to go now and finish my assignment which is due this Thursday!

Honestly, I was so scared to death with this ride but I have to face my fears as what my husband encourages me HEHEHEHE…I am glad I went because it was indeed, fun! Now, I am not scared to ride the roller coaster anymore….

My husband wanted to experience it too…we can’t be together in this ride because Miriam is not old enough to join with us. We have to take turns on watching her…

Going back to school

Now that I am almost done schooling (1 week more), my husband decided to go back to school this time. He is enrolled already and will start his first class on March 9th in the same university that I went to. Its been a long time already that he was planning about going back to school but never happened because he wants me to finish first…. The cool thing about his education is that his employer will pay for it and thats what I’ve been telling him that he needs to take advantage of that because not everyone has that kind of priviledge. God is so amazing! He is providing all our needs and even more!

I am so excited for my husband. He can do it with God giving him the strength!

BTW, I can’t share photos for now as the camera is out of reach heheheh…Take care everyone! God bless!

Tuesday

I woke up eary in the morning as usual and right when hubby’s off to work I started working on our bills while Miriam is still sleeping. It was a big relief for me to be able to pay them all. Debts are almost paid off, I can’t wait! No more charging! Just pay in cash! If we paid off everything, we can help a LOT!

School is almost done, I’m on the 6th weeks {2 more weeks}! I am so excited of what God has instore for me….

My husband decided to file my US citizenship right away so we can start petitioning our beloved family in the Philippines.

Miriam can read few sentences now. Its so amazing how she learns so fast! She is starting to learn to write too. Her favorite letter is J. One time, she asked me how to write letter J and I was so amazed how she got it right away. Once I’m done with school, I will focus on teaching her MORE! Pretty exciting!

Pizza!

That’s right! We’re having pizza tonight. The bread machine is kneading the dough right now. I just finished making the pizza sauce and got the toppings ready. This time, I’m going to have mushroom, green pepper, pepperoni as the topping and I might try to add pineapple on it too. Hubby and Miriam are taking their nap right now. On the other hand, I am doing the laundry too.

Lastly, I will be staying up the whole night until I will finished my assignments. Wish me the best! By the way, I am thinking about going to a medical school (MA degree) and then proceed to taking Psychiatry? Thats a lot of work but I can do all thing through Christ who gave me strength!

little teacher

While I am sitting on the couch watching a movie, Miriam drag her chair in front of me and asked me to listen to her. At first I didn’t know what she is trying to do and then I have figured that she was just pretending to be a teacher teaching me how to read…hehehehe. Its so cute. I guess she just copied me each time I teach her too.
