On getting a laptop

Yesterday, me and my husband were looking around for great deals on laptops because we wanted to purchase one for my class. We have the mini laptop but we will give it to my friend who really needs it too. Anyway, we decided to get one of these hp laptops that I saw online. Most of our computers are from hp and we are very impressed with them. I look for online reviews from its users and they are all satisfied with their hp computers. In addition, the prices are so affordable. I can’t wait to get mine soon especially that my class will start on Thursday next week.

Now that Miriam is a computer expert, she wont stop using the computer anymore. She would wake up early in the morning just to use the computer. The good thing about it though is that she’s learning a lot because its an educational website that she goes to where she can learn to read. I like it that I don’t have to always sit beside her and teach her in the computer because she knew exactly what to do now and she really love it. Everyday, she surprises us with the new things she learns and its just so amazing! Yesterday, my husband was using the computer and she really want to study again so I tried to teach her how to use the laptop and she got it right away. Its so cute watching her little fingers operates the computer. On the other hand, we don’t really want her to get used to using the laptop because I heard that the radiation is just too strong which is not good for her. Anyway, I have to go now and finish my class assignment for this week. I can’t wait to finish this class and move on to another class…

Little update

Sorry, its been a while since my last post here. I kinda lost interest in updating my blog because of this completely broken laptop….oh well, at least I can still use it for now. I just have to be really patient. Anyway, just a quick update here….

We will be leaving on the 28th for Phoenix, Arizona. Its going to be fun being on a plane again. We will be staying in Phoenix for 4 nights, 3 days only and right after my commencement on May 2nd, we will be going to La Quinta, California and stay there until May 5th and will return to Olympia, WA on May 6th.

We are now excited! I keep you guys posted.

Since I first started taking classes in 2007, my husband got me a laptop for my convenience. Now that I’m done with my degree last month, this laptop was acting really strange. For example, it will just shut down anytime even if the battery is full. And now, half of the screen is really colorful while the other half is the normal screen. I will show a picture of my screen on my next post. The thing that I don’t like when this laptop will completely breaks is that all my passwords are saved here and I cannot retrieved them on the other computer too. I can still use it at least but I have to be very patient. What I usually do is that I restore the screen so I can adjust the size…

Anyway, I hope this will be fixed soon.

Lastly, I would like to share my little Miriam’s latest pics. We went to the mall the other day and this lady selling hair straighteners had a chance of straightening Miriam’s hair…..

Staying up late tonight

Me and my husband are still up this late tonight as we’re busy transferring all our stuff from my laptop to the hard drive. It’s been 2 weeks now that I have problems with this laptop. There’s this virus trigger that just won’t stop popping up and it just drives me nuts as it freezes everything and of course, once it attacks I can’t open the internet explorer and the firefox. I have too many pictures in the laptop and hubby dearest are saving them into the hard drive. After he had everything backed up, he will reformat the lappy or maybe it’s about time to buy a mac notebook?

By the way, we’re so spoiled tonight since we were eating too much ice cream after we grilled some steaks hehehe….enough about diet! LOL.

I better go and do my homework. Tomorrow is church day and we will be getting up early around 6AM. God bless everyone!
