Me and Miriam went to the gym today despite the cold weather. We were just walking down there and although it was freezing, we sure had fun. After an hour at the gym, we went to the mall too to look around for Miriam’s dress for Easter. I figured that I can definitely sew her the dress that she really love and so, I told her that we can just go to Joan’s and she can pick a fabric for her dress. She was so excited of the thought that I’ll be the one to make her dress. She told me, “Thank you so much Mom.” Now, I can’t wait to make her a beautiful dress for Easter.

BTW, her birthday is coming soon and since she loves High School Musical as her birthday theme, I asked her a suggestion of what she want her cake to look like and she said, “What about a microphone cake”? HEHEHEHE…I think, that is really a good idea. She really love music, I guess.

GTG now, its getting late her and I have to put Miriam to sleep. GOD BLESS EVERYONE!

I’ve been looking around for different kinds of bags and I am so happy I found this promotional tote bags. The good thing about them too is that they are so so affordable and I can’t wait to order a lot of them. I am collecting different styles of bags nowadays simply because I am fond of them and I can definitely use them everyday. As what my husband said, “you can’t get enough of them because you always need them.” This is why during my spare time, I am making quilted backpacks too in different colors because I have plans on giving them away too to my family and friends as presents.

Today is a very nice day but I can’t go outside since I am babysitting my friend’s daughter too. Tomorrow, my husband will take a half day at work since he has an eye appointment in the afternoon. After his appointment, we’ll go to Joan’s to buy me some sewing supplies and start making backpacks, bags, etc. again. By the way, I am so excited for my next class in March 10. Its going to be more challenging too because I will have my practicum and I don’t have any idea how I would do it. The only thing that keeps me going is the verse in Philippians 4:13, ” I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.”

Starting my own business someday

I am getting better on sewing and I love making bags, purses, and backpacks. A lot of people told me that I should sell them. God be willing, I might start my own business. One thing for sure that I need is this barcode scanner just like any other businesses especially in retail. Anyway, I need to keep sewing first and get really good at it and then I will think on making a profit out of it. Talking about sewing, I need to go to the store later to buy more sewing stuff. I really love crafts! I am planning to take another craft lesson and it will be on painting/drawing. That’s one of my favorite things to do too.

I am so happy that I am finally sewing. I had my sewing 101 class last Wednesday and it went well although I was a little late because I had a hard time looking for the sewing room. The teacher just taught us the basic how to’s and I got it right away. It was indeed very easy that even a little kid can do! Anyway, I am really stoked now that I made pajama for my husband right away and a cute summer dress for Miriam ( she choose her own cloth and design). If I have a chance I will have to show them on my blog. Right now, my husband is wearing his pajama that was done 3 hours ago. Sewing is indeed fun but the thing that I don’t like is the mess all over our house with this little pieces of cloth. Gtg now and sleep for tomorrow is the Lord’s day and we’ll be up so early for church. I’ll be singing with the rest of the worship team tomorrow. My husband will play bass. Good nite everyone! Hello Everyone! I hope all is well with everybody. About me, I am so looking forward to my first day of class on Monday. I am a little bit nervous too because I know how tough is going to be but I am just hoping that I don’t have the world’s strickest teacher! I had one before and its no fun at all. However, I did learn the most important things from him so I honored him for that. Aside from that I am also taking a sewing class at Joann’s and I am so excited now. I will start on July 8. I need to use my sewing machine that I bought a year ago. My husband keeps on reminding me how expensive that sewing machine and that I didn’t use it. It has embroidery too which is really nice. Anyway, I can’t wait to be able to play with it soon. Later this morning, me and Miriam will swing by Joann’s store to shop for my sewing supplies after my work out at the gym. And this weekend, the 3 of us will watch a movie, “UP” on Imax (3D). Fun fun fun….take care everyone. God bless!
