I only have peaches for breakfast but I will have brown rice and fried tilapia fish for lunch later. Later today, me and Miriam will have Taekwondo too and its going to be lots of fun. By the way, I talked to my family in the Philippines early this morning and I am thankful to God that they are all doing good. My niece will be in college this June at Silliman University, taking up Mechanical Engineering. Time really flies because I really didn’t realized that she’s in college already. It seems like it was yesterday that I held her as a baby. She was one cute baby and very smart too. She is now a growing young woman who is gifted with lots of talents. I hope and pray that she will succeed in life and be able to achieved all her goals. Her younger sister will be in college 2 years from now too and she said that she wants to take BSMedTech and proceed Medicine. I hope her desires wont change, I am always here to support them.

My first day in the classroom

Yesterday was my first day in a classroom setting where I’m not the student but I am one of the teachers. I’m not certified yet but I’ll be there soon, God be willing. The reason why I work at school yesterday is because of the required 10 hours practicum of the class that I am taking right now. I work with ELL or English Language Leaners and they are just amazing! They are really smart. They can speak English just fine but they just need a little help on their pronunciation. The way they speak in English with accent is really cute! I can’t wait to be with them next week again. It’s really exciting. I told the classroom teacher that I can still work as a volunteer even if I’m done with my practicum and she is really excited about it because she really need a lot of help with her students.
